MAGRUDER, JOHN BEAVERS – 82, passed away on July 29 after a brief illness. Born in 1930, he was predeceased by his loving wife Muriel and is survived by Nephews Jack Lueben and Bruce Jordan. John’s love was shown daily as a school crossing guard. He was popular for his kindness to the children and always ready with dog treats for his canine friends. Born in 1930 in Washington, D.C., John graduated from the Univ. of Florida, and served honorably in the US Army. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 12:30 p.m. at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Restland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA or to the Bradfield Elementary PTA, 4300 Southern Ave., Dallas, TX 75205
