John David Mathews' Obituary
Dave died suddenly from a massive stroke at Medical City Hospital of Dallas. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy in WWII. Dave is survived by his wife Bobbie of 65 years, brother; Jack Mathews, daughter; Debra Mathews Merilatt, son; Steve Mathews, grandson; Scott Merilatt and wife Nai, great granddaughter; Gabrielle Merilatt, great grandsons Camden Merilatt and Carter Bates, brother-in-law Jerry Morgan and wife Joan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Dave had a multitude of friends and was loved by all. Visitation will be held at 11 AM followed by service at 1 PM on Monday, April 11, 2016 at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Military burial will follow the Funeral Service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park. 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
