I only knew John for about a year, but during that relatively short time we established an immediate friendship, really enjoyed each other’s company, I loved his honesty and sincerity and his gifted mind, he had both sides working all the time, my heart aches for his wife Babs and son Kyle, who although we never met I feel like I know because John and I would see each other often sometimes weekly except when one of us might have been traveling, and when we talked in person or by phone he always would bring up his wife and son, it hurts to think he’s not going to get to hold his one and only grandchild that he was so looking forward to and his desire to keep his World Series streak of attendances with Kyle is very unfortunate, I’m sure a World Series trip will never be quite the same for you Kyle, but knowing your Dad he’d be very happy if you would keep the streak going with your child. Would love to have the opportunity to meet both you and your mom Kyle:I am truly heartbroken for the two of you and extended family, may God bring you rest and allow you to find comfort in John’s absence.
Robert& Linda Gaudin ( my wife and I are remodeling are home and John allowed my wife and her designer to visit your home Babs because John was my go to sports memorabilia expert and kind enough to assist me throughout our short time together.
If there’s ever occasion for us to meet it would be my honor to do so, I can be reached at 817-875-1444.
