John Burnett McGrew's Obituary
MCGREW, JOHN B. Born June 22, 1924 in Roxton, Texas, passed away March 17, 2011 at Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham, Texas. John was a 50 year plus member of Edwin J. Kiest Lodge #1310 in Dallas. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; brothers, Douglas McGrew and T.J. McGrew; sisters, Helen McCain and Thelma Tulley. John is survived by sisters, Ruth Hagood of Roxton, TX and Dorothy O’Brien of Mineola, TX; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Restland Memorial Park, followed by interment.
