McKenzie who went to meet our heavenly Father on June 20, 2019.As he meets our heavenly Father above his guardian angel and father James A. McKenzie (Jim/Papa Jim) helped to guide him through to the other side.John leaves here with us a loving and dear mother, Diane McKenzie; wife, Ammie McKenzie; and sons Joshua Keith and Justin Allan McKenzie. He also leaves us with three brothers J. Michael McKenzie and his wife Jane Collins McKenzie, David A. McKenzie and his wife Kathi McKenzie, and A. Perry McKenzie; a niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of close friends.John was a graduate of Hillcrest High School. He went on to Hill Jr. College and then attended Richland Community College before earning his Bachelor’s degree at Stephen F. Austin. He also attended CAMT where he became a certified HVAC/Plumbing and Electrical Technician. John was a Maintenance Technician in apartment housing for many years.
