John Terry Miller's Obituary
John Terry Miller was born October 12th 1948, he passed away July 23rd 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by those he held closest to his heart, his wife of 52 years, Brenda Miller, his daughter Stacy (Miller) Randel, and son Chad Miller.
For those who knew Terry as friends, he considered them to be family also. His sense of humor and love for friends and family is what stood out about Terry. Terry loved hunting, golf, everything outdoors, and considered himself a grill master! He enjoyed learning about World War II history, being with friends, and being a born and bred Texan and Dallas man. He loved all Dallas sports teams and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Terry graduated from WT White High School in 1967. He was the quarterback of the football team. Many of the relationships fostered at that time ended up being life long friends, which he cherished. For the rest of his life, he delighted in remembering and retelling the stories of their glory days on the football field. He attended the University of North Texas and in 1969, married the love of his life, Brenda. Terry was a successful salesman which led to him forming his own company in 1991, Miller Exterior Design. He had a knack for relationship building and a desire to help others. He was fair and honest, which made it possible to assist hundreds of homeowners achieve their home improvement dreams.
Terry had one grandchild, Mia Miller, that he loved with all his heart. While he may not be here in person to see her advance in life, she always brought a big smile to his face even in his last moments. Mia got one of his last smiles before his passing.
Terry will be missed by all who knew him. He had a knack for making any gathering of friends and family fun and memorable, with his stories and jokes. Several of the jokes had been told many, many times, which did not deter him one bit.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Jack Miller, mother, Maxine Bozeman and step-father, Odell Bozeman.
Terry is survived by his wife, Brenda J. Miller, daughter, Stacy (Miller) Randel and her husband, Gary, son, Chad Miller and his wife Kim, granddaughter, Mia Miller, sister, Carol Price and multiple nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 13, 2022 at 5:00 pm at Brookhaven Country Club, 3333 Golfing Green, Dallas, TX 75234.
