Name: John Paul Mills
Born: Feb. 10, 1945 in Arlington, Texas, and passed away April 2, 2020 in Plano, Texas.
Preceded in death by parents: Roy Lee Mills and Ethel Mills.
Survived by: Wife - Nancy Mills, Daughter - Tina Johnson and husband, John, of Frisco, Texas. Son - Timothy Mills and wife, Tonya, of Sanger, Texas. Grandchildren - Alex Paul Johnson and Jodie Michelle Johnson, Sister: Meda Mason of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Paul was an ordained Southern Baptist Minister and attended Bible College in the Dallas, Texas area. He was the Senior Pastor of Cathedral of Praise Carrollton in Carrollton, Texas, for many years, started several ministries including Prime Time Fellowship in Plano, Texas, and, most recently, led a Sunday School Class for Senior Adults at Parkway Hills Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. He had a radio ministry called "Successful Living with Pastor Paul Mills" that was broadcast on many Christian radio stations. In addition, he was also successful in the insurance business where he worked for many years.
Paul was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with family. He was passionate about spreading God's Word. Paul and Nancy conducted Christian marriage and parenting seminars nationwide. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we will have a family-only service next week, but when allowed, we will have a celebration of life service at a future date to remember Paul and his legacy. TBA.
