In Loving Memory of John Wesley Moore

John Weasley Moore of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in Dallas, Texas, on June 15, 1938, John was the beloved son of Foy John Moore and Nettie Mae Couthren.
Known affectionately by his Good Sams friends as “Mr. Sign and Such,” John brought warmth, humor, and a welcoming spirit wherever he went. His presence was a fixture in the community, and his legacy is one of kindness, and had unwavering devotion to those he loved.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Nattie Mae Groves; his grandparents, Mama and Pawpaw Williams; his sister, Darleen Holland; and his brother, Jack Groves. Their memories live on in the stories he shared and the love he carried in his heart.
He is survived by his son, Tracy Moore of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his daughters, Ginalu Moore Harris and husband Jeff of North Richland Hills, and Denise Velde and husband John of Carrollton. John was a proud grandfather to John Nicholas Clements and wife Rachel of Watauga, and Dustin Harris and wife Stevie of Justin. His legacy continues through his cherished great-grandchildren: Morgan and Chris Garcia, Malachi Gordon, Victoria Clements, Olivia Harris, and Benjamin Harris.
A memorial service has been scheduled for Friday, October 17, 2025, beginning at 2:30 PM, at dining room at the Morada Meadow Lakes, located at 5000 Meadow Lakes Dr., North Richland Hills, TX 76180.
