John, along with his wife Beverly, was a longtime, dear friend and fellow church member whom we were privileged to know well. John cared about his family, friends and Peace Lutheran Church. John always had a smile and a collection of looney tunes ties which he loved to wear with his suit. We will miss him but rejoice in the victory in Jesus which he now enjoys – rest easy John we'll see you in due time. LeeRoy & Beverly Schmedthorst
Lit a candle in memory of John R. Morgan
Mr John Morgan was my Printing Trades teacher for 2 years. He was the one teacher thru all my years in school who taught me more life skills than any other teacher.I remember working with him on Saturdays up at NGHS. He was one teacher than never gave up on his students know matter how bad we were. I was able to keep in touch with him and had the privilege of going and having breakfast with him not too long ago. I have so many stories that have stuck with me to this day. I will be missed dearly.I hope the family finds peace and in this time of sorrow celebrate his life, he was a great man, who served his country and the best school teacher I had ever had. Mr Jon Morgan was one of a kind, and I am very happy he was brought into my life, if this man had not been my teacher for the 2 years I was in his class I am certain my life would have taken a different path. REST IN PEACE Mr Morgan.
He was a great teacher. I have great memories in his NGHS printing trades class. Rest in peace. Steve Arey
