John S. Mosby Sr.'s Obituary
John S. Mosby, Sr., 84, born June 23, 1926, passed away at his home in Dallas on April 24, 2011. A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 28 from 6-8 pm at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside services are 10 am on Friday at Restland Memorial Park. John proudly served his country in the US Marines during WW II and worked for LTV for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Dottie L. Baker Mosby and son-in-law Richard Head. He is survived by his children, John S. Mosby, Jr. and Janice Head, grandchildren Renee Head Walker and husband Russell, Jennifer Head Hazelwood and husband Brian, and Richard Head IV and wife Misty; and 5 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the VFW or the North Dallas Food Bank.
