John Forsee O'Hearn's Obituary
John Forsee O’Hearn, age 67, of Frisco, Texas left this troubled world to be with God on June 10, 2020. He lived a happy life and passed away peacefully in his home.
John was born on June 15, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to his parents Edward and Mildred O’Hearn. John grew up in the Cherokee Park area of Louisville and attended Trinity High School and Bellarmine University. John’s career started as a bellman at the Galt House Hotel and upon graduating college, he immediately moved to Miami, Florida to start his career in Hotel Sales & Hospitality. The business took him all over the country, but eventually brought him back to Dallas again where his daughter Casey was born. He was successful, reputable, and sometimes considered famous in the Hotel & Hospitality industry. For several years, he was a member of the Rotary Club of Frisco. John was well-known as a people person but his most important role was being a great father. He was notorious for loving and promoting his Irish roots and heritage and being a servant of Christ as a member of the Catholic Faith.
John was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Mildred O’Hearn and his sister Eleanor Dale. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Casey and Phillip Nowell; brothers: Edward O’Hearn Jr., Thomas O’Hearn; sisters: Challlon Roberts, Katherine Farrell, Constance O’Hearn and numerous additional family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, June 28, 2020 in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Casey and Phillip Nowell’s residence following the service that is open to friends & family of John.
