John Daniel O'Steen's Obituary
Dan O’Steen, age 58, passed away suddenly on January 30, 2009. He was born December 14, 1950 in J acksonville, FL. Dan graduated from high school from Peacock Military Academy in San Antonio. After graduation, he attended S.M.U. and was a member of Delta Chi Fraternity. Dan received his B.S. Degree from U.T.D. and received his C.P.A. He had a private practice in Carrollton, TX. Dan was a member and past president of the Dallas North Rotary and had a love for the game of golf. He is survived by his daughter, Caitlin Elizabeth O’Steen; mother and father, Edith and Lloyd Halbrook of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, Henry B. and Valeta E. O’Steen of Grapevine; sister, Susan Pingaro of Dallas, and 1 niece and numerous nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Restland Abbey Chapel.
