John Jacob Pawlowski, 38, of Mesquite, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018. John was born February 24, 1980 in Pittsburgh, PA to Doris (Cochran) and John Joseph Pawlowski. John married April (Singleton) on February 17, 1999. Together, they had 3 children that John absolutely adored; Eunice Starr, Felicity Angel, and Jacob Andrew. John was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Leila Nathalie Smith, and his grandfather, Charles Perry Smith. John is survived by his wife, April; children, Eunice, Felicity, and Jacob; mother, Doris Ratliff; brother, Ryan Carman; brother, John Ratliff; brother, Jeremy Ratliff; and he was blessed to have three fathers Glenn Lewis, Terry Ratliff, and John Joseph Pawlowski. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law Ken and Virgie Singleton; brothers-in-law, Kevin, Jason, and Joshua Singleton; as well as several step-brothers and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends that loved him unconditionally. If you knew John, then you knew he loved playing and watching basketball. He proved to many that white men COULD jump. He also enjoyed video games and recently took up the hobby of fishing. John had a great smile, sense of humor, and wonderful laugh. His hugs were one of a kind and there was no way he would let you go without one. Services for John will be at 3 PM, Thursday, June 14, 2018 at The Restland Wildwood Chapel, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243.
