John Phillip Plecko's Obituary
Born March 17, 1918 in Chicago, IL and passed away on June 17, 2007 in Plano, TX. He proudly served his country as an Air Force Pilot during World War II as part of the 449th bombardment group, “The Flying Horseman”, from 1943-1945. He earned the rank of Captain and was honored with the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Certificate of Valor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta. He is survived by his daughter, Lana Teason, and husband Glen; 2 grandchildren Michelle Dodsworth and Tricia Teason; 4 great-grandchildren, Spencer and Stirling Dodsworth and Anna and Adam Paczuski. Private memorial service will be held at a later date.
