John Reymundo Reyes' Obituary
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of John Reymundo Reyes, 77 years of Prosper, Texas, on Monday, June 1, 2026. He was born July 23, 1948 in Dallas, Texas, and is preceded in death by his parents Reymundo Torres Reyes & Eloisa Torres Reyes; sister Amparo Reyes and former spouse Frances Reyes.
He is survived by his loving wife Kathy Kowalczyk Reyes and his son Julian and Marisela Reyes, his grandchildren Gabriel Adan Reyes & Vicente John Reyes, sisters Mary, Grace, Veronica, and Phyllis & spouses along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
John’s legacy of humor, perseverance, and learning will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His remarkable life will forever be an inspiration, a testament to the power of an indomitable spirit enthused with curiosity and resilience.
He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
Funeral services will be held at Restland Funeral Home & Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas 75243. Rev. Alfredo Garcia will be presiding.
