John Richard Steyer's Obituary
John Richard Steyer was born August 7th, 1965 in San Antonio, Texas. He was the 4th child adopted by Edward and Pauline Steyer. He was written into the Book of Heaven through Holy Baptism at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dallas on September 26th of that year and later confirmed his Faith. He joined his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and sister Mary and went 'Home' on June 25th, 2023.
John lived his whole life in Dallas, graduated from Lake Highlands high school and received an A.A. degree at Richland Jr. College. He worked for the last 29 years in technical support at a local law firm. He enjoyed seeing movies, watching old westerns on TV, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his brother Paul Steyer of Dallas; sister and brother-in-law Ruth and Mark Holtz of Penfield, New York; nephews David, Thomas, Timothy & Tyler Holtz and Jared Steyer; many cousins and friends who all remember him as a 'sweet' and 'friendly' person.
