John Jeremy Sweet-Gomez's Obituary
John Jeremy Sweet-Gomez, 37, of Dallas, Texas passed away Monday, January 19th, 2015. He was born on August 1st, 1977 in Panama City, Florida and is the son of Ed and Carla Sweet-Gomez. Jeremy graduated from Rockwall High School in Texas in 1996. After graduation he began an exciting and fulfilling career in music management. He also worked alongside his father at his law firm. Jeremy loved adventure and traveled as much as he could. He recently returned from an awe inspiring trip to the Hawaiian Islands. He was happiest when on the beach, after a good workout, or when surrounded by friends and family including his very best friend, his dog, Wednesday. Jeremy is survived by: his parents, Ed and Carla; his sisters, Tiffany and Brittany Gomez, Stephanie Sweet; his niece, Willow “Tree”; his grandmothers, Dolores Gomez and Virginia Sweet; and many, many loving Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. His remarkable spirit will be celebrated at Restland Memorial Chapel, located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas, 75243, Saturday, January 24th, at 6:00pm. There will be a free memorial concert in honor of Jeremy by Eleven Hundred Springs from 3:00-5:00 pm, Sunday, January 25, 2015 at The Double Wide Bar, 3510 Commerce Street in Dallas. Jeremy’s ashes will be taken home to Panama City Beach for one final boat ride and cast upon the waters of the Gulf of Mexico that he loved so dearly.
