John Ryan Syllaios was born April 3, 1981 in Plano, TX and passed away May 19, 2016 in Dallas, TX. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene and Vera Wilson, and Ioannis and Aikaterini Syllaios. Survived by his parents,Teri and Thanassis Syllaios; his sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Steven Callahan; his nieces, Taylor and Kate Callahan; his uncle and aunt, Loukas and Stella Syllaios; his aunt, Sharon Wilson; his cousins, Ioannis Syllaios, Katerina Karageorgou, and Vaggelis Syllaios. John graduated from J.J. Pearce High School in 1999, the University of Texas at Austin in 2003, and Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2009. Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 5:00- 7:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at First Methodist Church Richardson, 503 N. Central Expressway, Richardson, Texas, with graveside service to follow at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Washington and Lee University School of Law, 204 W. Washington St., Lexington, VA 24450 or the charity of your choice.
