Dr. John Witmer's Obituary
Dr. Witmer was a theology professor at Dallas Theological Seminary and had a great influence on many as they prepared for full-time ministry for the Lord. He was married to Doris May Ferry on June 10, 1943. God blessed the union with three children: Marilyn Custis, John R. Witmer, and Deborah Jones. All three children grew up to love the Lord and serve Him faithfully in various ways. He has eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, two of whom have married preachers.
