Betty, Laura, Jay, John & dear Preston, Johnny will forever be cherished in our memories. From the 1st moment I met him, I experienced kindness & love. Brenda invited me over & showed me around their home when Preston was just a newborn. Johnny was so warm & welcoming! I Got a kick out of the pet Gecko on the pocket door! I call that "pest control au natural". Johnny was so dedicated to his family. He enjoyed attending Preston's football games in Plano. He'd root & holler out for Preston! Johnny never missed a chance to come over, say "Hello!" & make us feel welcome. He was such a generous man. One day a few years later I opened my front door to a gentle knocking & found Johnny asking to come in & sit a spell to visit. He was rounding up support for something for Preston. This man was willing to travel to the Moon & back to help his loved ones. He served to protect our Country & stayed true to his commitment in the Lord. God Bless Johnny Work. What a great example he is to follow. You all have a lovely family. Johnny will be missed. His kindness touched our lives & we pay it forward each day. Thank you for sharing Johnny Work, Sr with us! P.S. I hope' jolly Brenda' was there serving as his guiding Angel to bring him on home. Again, if there is anything we can do, say or give to help you through this loss… please just reach out.
