Johnnie Lee, I cannot begin to express the sadness I have knowing that I will no longer see that smile that only you could smile. It was the same smile whether you were seeing someone after a long absence, an embarrassing moment, a funny story, or you were getting in trouble. I will miss the kind, quite way you spoke, the shy laugh, the gentleness of your nature and your sweet, crooked smile. I will miss your sweet, crooked smile the most. Johnnie, you and I shared a bond that was different from the rest. Maybe because we were only four months apart, maybe because we wouldn't let anyone pick on the other, maybe because we made the perfect Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy…it doesn't matter why, we had a connection that was special. I love you Johnnie and I am so blessed to have had you in my world not only as a member of my family, but as my friend. I will miss you more than you could ever imagine.
