Johnny Paul Adams, Sr.'s Obituary
Johnny Paul Adams was born to Dorothy Adams and Aaron Reese on September 3, 1960, in Water Valley, Mississippi. He received his education in both Water Valley, Mississippi, and Chicago, Illinois school systems. He confessed his life in Christ and was a member of the Monument of Faith Evangelistic Church in Chicago, IL.
On September 8, 1978, He entered into holy matrimony with Beverly Williams, with whom he had three cherished children, one of whom preceded him in death. Recognized for his strong work ethic, he was dedicated to his profession. In his spare time, he loves to go fishing and was an excellent cook.
In 2019, He embarked on a career with the LGT Transport Company as an owner operator until he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Williams of San Antonio, TX; three children, Johnny Adams Jr (Keisha Adams) of Tampa, FL, Jonnah Hardy of Dallas, TX, and Jennifer Brown who predeceased him. He is also survived by three stepchildren, Aaron Williams of New York, NY, Erika Robertson, and Travis Smith of Atlanta, GA. He had a total of 11 Grandchildren, Charee and Chanel Stevens; Jonathan Adams, Jaleah Adams; Kyra Miles; Grant Adams; Colin Adams; Joshua Beckford Mariah Brown; Matthew Brown; Remiyah Hardy
His siblings include Edith Murray, Frances Adams from Aurora, Illinois; Pauline Adams from Lansing, Michigan; Richard Adams from Chicago, Illinois; Latrec Adams, Latina Adams from Batavia, Illinois; Patrice Adams from Sterling, Illinois; Patricia Adams from Florida; Meosha Adams, Avery Adams from Rockford, Illinois; Willie Murray from Water Valley, Mississippi, who preceded him in death. He had a host of cousins; nieces and nephews and a host of friends who loved him dearly.
