Johnny Lee Geer's Obituary
Johnny Lee Geer, 66, was born on August 18, 1950 in Sherman, Texas to parents Albert and Willie Mae Geer, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 in Irving, Texas. Johnny married the love of his life Roseanna Lanier Geer on November 21, 1967 in Dallas, Texas. He worked as a welder with Master Tank in Dallas for 8 years, Affiliated Foods for 25 years and retired from Wal-Mart after 15 years of dedicated service. Johnny was loved by many, he never met a stranger. He loved to fish and could do so 24 hours a day, seven days a week, even if he didn’t catch anything. Johnny is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years Roseanna Geer of Irving, Texas, Denise Laurenzana and husband Joe of Elgin, Oklahoma, Christina Christiason and husband Allen of Irving, Texas. Brother; Larry Geer of Bonham, Texas, Sister-in-law Cheryl Calvert, Brothers-in-law; Mike Lanier, Gary Lanier and Bruce Lanier. Grandsons; Jonathan Geer and Danny Laurenzana, granddaughters; Alesha Lewis and Nicole Risley, 6 wonderful great-grandchildren; Devon Laurenzana, Aaliyah Villareal, Emma Lewis, Braydon Risley, Berkley Risley, Bryce Risley and many more who called him Grand Pa and Old Man. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 11, 2017 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home.
