JoLynn Winfield Long, 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 14, 2018, in Frisco, Texas. She was born on Saturday, August 23, 1947, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Jack Winfield and Alice Joyce Baker in Alice, Texas. JoLynn most enjoyed family gatherings. Whether it was Christmas or the 4th of July, as long as she was with family, she loved it! Her other favorite past time was traveling. Las Vegas and Disneyland were her two favorite spots! JoLynn will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.She is survived by her son, Bart Long and wife, Stephanie of Richardson; her daughter, Cara Long of Sachse; her grandchildren, Mason Long of Dallas and Addison Long of Richardson; her brother, Jack E. Winfield and wife, Sharon of Dallas; her sister, Janice Ruston of San Antonio; and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and countless others who loved her.Visitation for JoLynn will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2018, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at 11:00 AM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Operation Kindness at 3201 Earhart Drive, Carrollton, TX 75006.Funeral arrangements for JoLynn Long have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
