Anne was a unique and lovable classmate of ours. She was always “Anne”.
She corresponded with me for many years. I enjoyed her letters so much & through the years anticipated receiving each one. How delightful they were!
She told of her trials and tribulations. She wrote of her family and how she loved her children.
I am 94, my sisters are 92, 87 & 86. We all went to school with Anne in Rotan and have so many wonderful memories of this remarkable woman.

Dear Sandy, I met your mother at a Tacky Party she gave on Halloween at her house for single people from the First Baptist Church years ago. She and I became very good friends. I loved her musical talent and positive attitude. She and I had many good times attending church events, the opera, and late movies. When she moved to Dallas, her apartment was near my oldest daughter's house and we continued to have very good times. She played the violin in my small church in Amarillo several times and was loved there. I cooked some good dinners at my daughter's for us. She loved her children very much, and was very good to Sharla and Skylar.

So sorry to hear of Anne's passing. We played in several symphonies together and even car pooled to play in the New Philharmonic of Irving for many years. She was a delightful person and always had something positive to say and think about.

Anne was an intelligent, talented and generous lady. She taught violin to my young daughter years ago. Even though my daughter became more interested in sports than music and the lessons stopped, Anne would still drop by from time to time to visit. I enjoyed listening to her stories and about her interest in politics. She always brought the funny papers from the newspaper and a small candy treat for my kids. Her motivation and energy inspired me, as did her love for and devotion to her family. She will be missed. My heart goes out to her sons.
