Jon Eugene Moench, age 59, was born to parents James Moench and Joyce Schubarth Moench on November 17, 1959, in Reno, Nevada. He passed away on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 19, 2019, in North Richland Hills, Texas. He married Gigi Sangster on August 24, 1996, in Van Buren, AR. He spent 35 years in the field of Sleep Medicine as National Technical Director for Texas Medical Diagnostic and Technical Director for Texas Sleep Clinic and Complete Sleep. Jon was also a proud member of the Eagle Scouts. Jon was loved by all who knew him, he took special joy in his children and grandson. Jon’s favorite past time was spending time with his wife, Gigi. Everyone appreciated his love and knowledge of new technology. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.Jon is survived by his wife, Gigi Moench, of North Richland Hills, TX; daughter, Jennifer Webb of Fort Worth, TX; son, Parker Moench of North Richland Hills, TX; grandson, Ethan Webb of Fort Worth, TX; sisters, Janet Murphy and Jayne Reed and parents, James Moench of Cheyenne, WY and Joyce Moench of Garland, TX.The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Sunday, June 23, 2019, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place on Monday, June 24, 2019, at 3:00 PM in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.Funeral arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, at the intersection of Restland Road and Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
