Jon Franklin Pierce's Obituary
Born September 26, 1957. Passed away December 24, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father Hugh Pierce and will now be together in heaven. Jon was survived by his mother Dottie Kring, brother Greg Pierce, sister Beth Lemaster and her husband Doug, and was married to Marybeth Durant. He was very proud of his nephews Hunt and Pierce Lemaster as well as his niece Alex Pierce. Jon was raised in Plano and graduated from Walden Preparatory School in 1976. Jon loved animals and was a real cowboy at heart. He was quick to have serveral one liners to cheer his many loyal friends. Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Graveside services will be held at 2:00p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
