When God calls someone as wonderful as Bill, he must have needed a new angel to watch over so many souls. Bill was a loving family man, a trusted friend, prayer warrior, and one of the truly kind and generous people who graced the lives and left his footprints on everyone he met. We who knew him are grateful that he passed through our lives and know that God sent him there. Bill is up there in Heaven right now making everyone laugh with his wonderful sense of humor. Your Big Spring High School Class of 1964 will miss you so much.

I was privileged to assist Bill as he coached the Bluebells to 5 straight city softball championships when Lacey and Suzanne were in grades 1 thru 5. Bill's friendly and even-handed approach in working with players, families, opposing teams, and sometimes even umpires, was a major factor in the teams' success. What's little known (Bill knew) was that the 6th grade team disbanded after the Worley's moved to Lubbock. The girls decided that it wouldn't be the same after Coach Bill left and decided to "go out on top". He had a major positive influence on everyone he met and will certainly be missed.
