Jon Y. Yeargan Beck's Obituary
Born in Paris, Texas on March 6th, 1945, died March, 4, 2008, in Dallas, Texas of complications due to colon cancer. He was 2 days shy of his 63rd birthday. He was a lifelong resident of Dallas, living on Asbury Ave., in University Park. He had a successful career as both a mortgage banker, working at many Dallas area banks, and as a real estate developer in business for himself. He attended Highland Park High School and received his Bachelor’s degree from North Texas State University. Preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Deborah M. Beck. He is survived by his 3 sons, James Beck of Dallas (web site developer and SMU law student), Tyler Beck of New York (advertising executive) and Michael Beck of Dallas (electrical engineering student at University of Texas at Dallas); sisters, Linda Jackson of Dallas, Texas and Jane Robinson of Richardson, Texas; cousins, Michelle Abrams and Betty Wolford. He was a loving and giving father to his children and will be missed.
