Jonathan Chadwick Beck's Obituary
Jonathan Chadwick Beck, beloved son, brother, and friend, died on Monday, June 12, 2017. He was 29 years old. Anyone who knew Jonathan could tell you about his incredible sense of humor. He possessed a remarkable ability to make anyone laugh, and had an infectious giggle to go with it. If Jonathan was at your party, you can bet he was the life of it. Jonathan never met a stranger, as the saying goes, and loved to always put others first. He was a fantastic listener, which is why so many people felt like they could confide in him. He was considerate and generous, nearly to a fault. He’d give you the shirt off his back even if it was the only shirt he owned. Despite being such a warm person, Jonathan was perfectly at home in the cold. He grew up playing hockey and loved snow and spending time in the mountains. He was into cars, the louder they were the better, and he loved cruising around in his pride and joy, a Nissan 350Z. Despite living such an active life—or maybe because of it—he was also a championship napper, especially after a big holiday meal. Jonathan’s life was full of people he loved, and who loved him in return: His mother and father, Terry and Hans Beck; sisters Jennifer Beck, Michelle Galliher and Stacy Lowthorpe; uncles Trent Tomlin and John Tomlin. And let’s not forget his beloved Mr. President, who is actually a beagle. Memorial service for Jonathan will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 20, 2017, in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
