Dr. Jordan H. Minyard's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Jordan H. Minyard, announces his passing on Thursday, January 10th, 2019, at the age of 67. The generous to a fault Dr. Minyard will be fondly remembered by the countless lives on which he had such an enormous impact. Jordan was a Husband, Father, Brother-in-Law, Uncle, Friend, U.S. Army Veteran and without a doubt The Best Dentist ever. A devoted Rangers fan with a second home on the golf course, Jordan was also a lover of reading, music, the outdoors and always strove to be the kind of man that could be counted on to lend a hand, help, or give of his time, to anyone, at any time. Many of Jordan’s patients became family as throughout his more than 35-year career as a dentist in Fort Worth, Jordan provided care for generations of families; first treating parents, then their children, and their grandchildren. Dr. Minyard was also a devout community servant, providing volunteer dental care to those in need throughout the metroplex.Jordan will be lovingly missed by his wife of 43 years, Amy, and is survived by his children: Justin, Ryan, and Meredith and grandchildren; Mackenzie, Kinleigh, and Genevieve. He will also be fondly remembered by his mother-in-law, Mrs. Joyce Carroll, sister-in-law Melissa Farrish, brother-in-law, David Farrish, and niece, Caroline Farrish.A Memorial Service in memory of Jordan will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 3:00 pm, at The Ridglea Christian Church, 6720 W. Elizabeth Lane, Fort Worth, TX, 76116, with Mr. David Farrish officiating. A reception will follow the service with light refreshments to be served. The Minyard family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Jordan to The Ridglea Christian Church.
