Jorene Dickinson Marino's Obituary
Born August 25, 1913 in Prescott, Arkansas, and passed away November 24, 2007. Preceded in death by her husband, Joe R. Marino, her brothers, Dennis, Jesse, and Edger Dickinson, and her nephew, Charles G. Andres. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Bette Ann and David G. Pittman; grandson, Joseph Gregory Pittman; granddaughter, Rebecca R. Pittman; greatgrand daughter, Avery F. Lopez, her sister, Jane Baker, and nephew, Joe B. Swift. Also survived by several great nieces and great nephews. She lived in Dallas for many years, where she and her husband owned and operated their own Texaco service stations. She participated in Eastern Star and was on the altar guild of St. Matthew’s Cathedral for 25 years. An Excellent cook, she enjoyed preparing meals for her family, especially at holiday times, and her banana bread was second to none. Jorene was a treasure to her family, all of whom she loved very much. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family will recieve guests and friends from 6-8 PM Monday November 26, for visitation. Services will be held at Wildwood Chapel Tuesday at 3:30 PM.
