Joseph Houston Casone's Obituary
CASONE, JOSEPH HOUSTON age 70, passed away on February 26, 2013 after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born to Joseph Casone and Alga Jean Medden on March 2, 1942 and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Joe obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Christian Brothers University in Memphis and later earned a Master’s Degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He loved his work in computer technology with Southwestern Bell and AT&T and in his leisure, enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to jazz music and spending time with his family. Joe was a hard-working, patient man and his gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Cheryl; son, John; son’s fiance, Maura Kenna; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Woei Ming, and granddaughter, Molly Mei Ming. Memorial Service to be held Saturday, March 2, 2013, 2:00 PM at The Church of the Transfiguration 14115 Hillcrest Rd, Dallas, TX 75254. The family requests memorial gifts be made to the American Cancer Society.
