I just found out that Uncle Eddie just passed away yesterday, 8/10/10. He was my dad's uncle, they grew up together, as they were about the same age. The last time I saw him was when he came down to San Antonio, to see the folks, and we all went out to dinner. He had been a fixture in our lives for many years, but after the folks moved back to Florida, I lost contact, with only a few Christmas cards and notes over the years.
