Joseph Henry's Obituary
HENRY, JOSEPH J.D. ” Jay Henry” was born on August 27, 1921 and passed on December 9, 2006. A veteran of the Army Air Corps, during WWII he flew P-38 and B-25 aircraft. Later, he became a Switchman for Southwestern Bell Telephone. He was known for his kind heart and his love for motorcycles. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law Darlene and husband Mike Doris; sons, Joseph Henry and Marvin Henry; and daughters Barbara and Eilene; 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister Mrs. C.W. ” Dot” Buttenschon and former wife Betty Henry Hunt. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Restland Funeral Home.
