Joseph Knox Lindsey Jr.'s Obituary
Joseph K. Lindsey, Jr. was born December 30, 1934 and passed away on December 3, 2014. He was an avid sportsman and loved the outdoors. There was not a sport he didn’t excel at. He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Lindsey, who he loved with all his heart. When they married he became a step father to two teenage girls. Needless to say his life changed drastically and in time he became not a step father but a wonderful, caring, and compassionate dad to these two women. He is survived by Debra Durham, Donna Mackey and her husband, Rex Mackey; three grandsons, Jared Mackey, Shane Mackey, Adam Mackey and his wife, Jennifer Mackey along with his great-granddaughter, Brylee Nicole Mackey. He is also survived by his niece, Leigh Ann Heusdens and nephew, Michael Allen Heusdens, We love and miss you every day Papa Joe. The funeral service for Joseph will be at 01:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road.
