MEJERLE, JOSEPH ROBERT age 81 of Dallas, TX passed away peacefully on 6/8/2011. He was born on 7/21/1929 in Rock Island, IL to his parents, Joe Mejerle and Luella Rogers. Joseph was the younger of 2. He married Janet in Dallas, TX on April 14, 1954. They had 3 children. He attended The University of Texas – Austin. He served in the Air Force for 4 years in Japan. He was a longtime resident of Dallas, TX and was a self employed business owner for years. Joseph was a member of Hillcrest Church. Joseph will be remembered by his loving wife, Janet Claire, and their children Joseph Robert Mejerle, Jr and wife, Laura Lee of Atlanta, Annette Mejerle Jeffress of Dallas, Lisa Mejerle-Law and husband, Freddy of Kopperel. He is also survived by grandchildren, Claudia Mejerle, Meredith Mejerle, Nathan Mejerle , Jessica Law. Service will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 at 12:00PM at Restland Abbey Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to the service in the chapel.
