Joseph Van Reed Sr.'s Obituary
JOSEPH VAN REED A resident of Plano, TX died April 14, 2011 at the age of 86. Mr. Reed was born March 28, 1925 in Lisbon, LA to Sim and Elizabeth Frost Reed. He was married to the late Lavern Palmer Reed in 1948 and was a member of the Church of the Living God in Plano. Survivors include sons, Sammie (Kathleen), Joseph, Jr. (Barbara), and Dante; daughter, Teresa; sister, Johnye Mae Milus; grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as a host of relatives and friends. A wake will be from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Reverend Artis Turner officiating.
