Joseph "Pat" Reynolds' Obituary
Joseph Patrick Reynolds passed away peacefully from this life into Heaven on December 9, 2021 at the age of 71 after a courageous fight with cancer.
He was born in Dallas Texas to Rosalie and Tex Reynolds on January 10, 1950. Pat was a beloved, kind and generous man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and wonderful friend to many.
Pat graduated in 1968 from Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas Texas. After graduation he moved to Denton Texas to attend North Texas State University where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He drove back to Dallas three days a week to work with his father and took a full load of classes on Tuesday and Thursday. It was at North Texas State University that he met his wife Lynda Brewster Reynolds. They met just weeks into her freshman year and were together from that day on. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 16, 2021.
Pat had a long and wonderful career in the alcoholic beverage industry. He worked 37 years for Ben E. Keith Beers which he so loved and retired from in 2015. He was a longtime member of the Dallas. Restaurant Association where he made so many life long friends.
Pat is survived by his wife Lynda Reynolds, son Steve Reynolds and his wife Kimberly, son David Reynolds, grandsons Bailey Reynolds and Jaden Reynolds, sister Shannon Mcgehee, brothers Chris Reynolds and Brian Reynolds, four nieces and one nephew, dear cousins and so many wonderful friends.
Pat was preceded in death by his mother Rosalie Reynolds, father Tex Reynolds, brother .Mickey Reynolds, brother Tim Reynolds, nephew Scotty Reynolds, mother in law Faye Brewster and father in Caw Lyle Brewster.
At this time, funeral services for Joseph Patrick Reynolds will be Monday, December 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
