Joseph William Lee's Obituary
Born May 19, 1917 in Houston, TX and passed away March 22, 2008 in Dallas, TX. Preceded in death by his wife Frances Lee in 1999. During World War II he was a waist gunner on a B-17 in the 8th Army Air Force and fought in the European Theater. After his discharge from military service in 1945 he entered the University of Texas in Austin and graduated with a degree in Geology in 1951. He is survived by his children Deborah Harrington, Emily Roberts, Betty McClain and Gene Bartholomew; grandchildren Christopher and John Luburich, Ben, Nicholas, Caleb, Gramm, Abby, and Matthew Roberts, Byron and Joseph Haynes, Scott Bartholomew, Cindy Klatt, Ryan Bartholomew and Terri Lee; numerous great grandchildren. Visitation Thursday March 27, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home and Service Friday March 28, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
