I remember Doc as a brilliant man with a wonderful sense of humor. He leaves a beautiful legacy of love, laughter and intellect reflected in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He was an inspiration to many, he touched so many lives during his lifetime, and always had time to talk and teach. He will be missed! His lifes work was an inspiration to all who knew him.
We are sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Our prayers go out to your family. Rondey & Terrie Callahan
Dear cousins, shairing a poem, one loved by may Unitarian Universalist, and read at Mum's memorial service. May you find words of comfort in it. In Blackwater Woods Look, the trees are turning their own bodies into pillars of light, are giving off the rich fragrance of cinnamon and fulfillment, the long tapers of cattails are bursting and floating away over the blue shoulders of the ponds, and every pond, no matter what its name is, is nameless now. Every year everything I have ever learned in my lifetime leads back to this: the fires and the black river of loss whose other side is salvation, whose meaning none of us will ever know. To live in this world you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go. -Mary Oliver
Angela, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart. Prov. 3:5
Life on earth,is like the air,it is here for an instant, and gone once it is there–your love and memories last beyond a lifetime. Heartfelt prayers, love and support from our family to yours.
Edward and I wish we could be with you,but know that we love you and have you in our prayers.
For many of us the measure of our life is the number of people we touch during our walk on earth. Some times these are people we meet face to face and other times they are people who benefit from some act of kindness or integrity. Dr Williams touched countless people in ways big and small. The measure of his life is huge. We are both honored to have known him and the wonderful family he ushered into this world. Our thoughts are with you and we will miss all of you.
To Stephanie, Roslyn and family. "And God shall wipe away all tears." My condolences and prayers are with you during this trying time. But know that He will sustain….
Hey guys, Just a short message. Keeping you all in my prayers. This is not a "GOODBYE" time, it is a "SEE YOU LATER" time. Continue to trust and depend on GOD. He is still the same. Don't let anybody tell you how you should or should not mourn. Nobody knows you inside but GOD. I am here for any of you although you all are blessed to have each other. Anything I can do, let me know. Much love. Earnest
