She lined her home with stuff animals to give to visitors when they stop by to check on her. Josephine had several hobbies and was known to collect antiques which resulted in her opening a small shop in the area. She also assisted her husband in his air conditioning business for many years before retiring. Furthermore, she showed her love to her daughter by attending every football game at Garland High School in which her daughter participated in the band or drill team.
