To Wayne, Jill and Greg: Our deepest condolences and heartfelt love and prayers go out to all of you. In Betty's passing, yourselves as well as those whose paths she crossed and influenced during her lifetime have lost not only a wonderful wife, mother, educator and friend, but a person who truly cared about her family and others as well. Aunt Betty and Uncle Wayne were the fun people that I got to go on vacation with when I was growing up. I had never camped and boy did we camp. These were some of the most fun times. I don't think I have ever known anyone as truly sweet inside and out as Aunt Betty. All my prayers are with Wayne, Jill and Greg. So hard to lose those we love. Sharon Woodring Walton

Aunt Betty was a very special lady. I always enjoyed visiting with them at reunions. I spent one summer when I was a teenager taking care of Jill and being with the Aunt Betty and Uncle Wayne. My prayers are with all of you!! Love you all!!

Her love for her students was immense. I cannot thank her enough for having the courage to found a school which has been so influential to the lives of so many young people. We chose Highlander for our three children because it reflects the values we share as a family, and its program teaches the fundamentals that are necessary to a child?s education. She never failed to thank God for the wonder of the children at Highlander. Simply put, Highlander is what elementary school should be. Dr. Woodring, you will be greatly missed. The Putnam Family

I remember Woodring Family Reunions at PaWings house. Aunt Betty would always rock me (before Jill) even though I was 5 years old. Sure will miss "Tuesday Nights" Love and prayers to Great Uncle Wayne, Jill & Greg and the kids. Becky
