Joy Loucielle Lee's Obituary
LEE, JOY Went to be with the Lord and her husband of 48 years, Curtis E. Lee, on September 4, 2008. She was surrounded by her loving family in Dallas, Texas. She was born on March 2, 1923, to Elizabeth Berthelsen and George Fitch in Guthrie, Oklahoma. A 1941 graduate of North Dallas High School, she was one of the North Star majorettes. They were the first group to perform the Swiss flag routines. She worked as an interior decorator in Houston, Dallas and Plano. Her true joy in life was her family: Anne Glick and husband Joel, Patti Ardoin, Gina Oltrogge and husband Leon, her two granddaughters, Amy and Ashlie Ardoin, and five little grand dogs Angie, Francie, Bailey, Oliver and Gomez. Other loves were hummingbirds and fresh flowers. Her kindness and fast wit will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM, Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
