THOMAS, JOY C. Born September 11, 1923 in Arlington, Texas and passed away September 9, 2010 in Plano, Texas. Survived by daughter, Diane Sowell and husband Norm; son, Vic Thomas and wife Carol; grandchildren, Chris and Alicia Clark, Jason and Kelly Thomas, Doug Thomas; great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Cade Clark, Abigail and Logan Thomas; brother, Jim Locast; nieces and nephews, Dr. Robert Jeffress, Tom Jeffress, Jennifer McKellar. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM, Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 13, 2010 in the Chapel at Prestonwood Baptist Church, 6801 W. Park Blvd, in Plano.
