Joy Aline Wesberry's Obituary
WESBERRY, JOY ALINE Born September 17, 1917 in Plano, Texas and passed away September 11, 2009 in Garland, Texas. Joy was a very sweet, gentle and caring person. She always put others before herself. She was very creative with her hands and enjoyed sewing, cooking and crocheting. Joy was “Mammaw” to all the chilldren who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Estelle Abbott; husband, Carl L. Wesberry; sister, Mildred Hargrave and brothers, Melvin, Calvin, Pete and Jay Abbott. Joy is survived by her son, Jim Wesberry and wife, Becky; daughter, Judy Boner and husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Donny Boner and wife, Trisha, Kenny Boner and wife, Silence, Clay Grigson, Joe Boner and wife, Brandi, and Melody Shevlin and husband, Kevin; great-grandchildren, Kristin, Randy, Lexi, Brittney, Holli, Tanner, Brandon, Josh, Matthew, Nicholas, Paige, Eric and Darrin with 2 new ones (twins) on the way. Visitation will be 4:00 – 6:00, Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 12:30 PM, Monday, September 14, 2009 at Restland Memorial Chapel. We would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to her special care giver, Margie Michles,Goodwin Hospice and Acappela Nursing.
