I learned so many things from you, my dear neighbor. You taught me that my garden should have balance yet to always remember that odd number rule. Now, I didn’t always get there but I sure loved the way you would smile and help me! I learned how happy, happy hour can be! …and how brightly a cell phone flashlight could light the alley as we completed those happy happy hours. I learned Pinot Grgigio isn’t that bad. A blue wine glass will forever make me think of you! I learned how special it is to be trusted with every code and hiding place there is for entry into such a beautiful home. I learned that being covered by the prayers of a neighbor (Baptist even!!!) can give me such courage and strength and belief that all will be ok. And it always was. I learned so much about how much you love your family and I learned how much I loved being the “Sista” I learned how awesome it is to have a neighbor who loves my family and always covered them in prayer……. I learned what a true lady looks like . …..Rest peacefully dear Joy…I love you. Carlene
