Joyce Alexander's Obituary
ALEXANDER, JOYCE of Dallas, TX peacefully passed away June 18, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. Born April 12, 1931 in Miner, TX to Lucile and Dudley Parks. Preceded in death by her beloved son Russell. Survived by her husband of 59 years, James; son Randy; sisters Helen and Sarah; and “her girls”, granddaughters Kristen, Lauren, Kathryn, and Emily. She was also a talented seamstress and artist, and took great pride in creating things by hand. She cherished playing golf and bridge with her many dear friends at the Dallas Athletic Club over her 28 years as a member. Above all she valued family and enjoyed bringing her loved ones together. Visitation at Restland Funeral Home Monday, June 22, 6-8 pm. Funeral Service at Restland Memorial Chapel Tuesday, June 23, 12:30 pm.
