Joyce Cole Ball's Obituary
Joyce (Cole) Ball, age 85, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, in Mansfield, Texas. She was born on February 27, 1938, in North Carolina, to Rosa Lee (Puckett) and Allen Cole. She grew up with her five brothers and seven sisters.
She met and married Robert N. Ball in Henderson, North Carolina. They had five children, four sons and a daughter. Robert preceded her in death on April 8, 2007. Joyce was a secretary for a Tax Service. She went with many retired Southern Baptist Church personnel to other countries to work on their churches. She loved her Lord and asked if anyone does not know him personally to accept him so they too can go to Heaven.
Joyce is survived by her children, Robert L. Ball (Lu), David L. Ball (Amanda), Donna L. Brake (Bob), Jeff L. Ball (Petra) and Norman L. Ball (Heidi); brother, Dennis Cole (Sandra); sisters, Ann Kittrell (Jerry), Judy Milton (Joe), Elaine Hilliard and Mildred Jackson (Willard); grandchildren, Cynda Simmons, Craig Brake, Christy Brake, Ashley Brake Emola, Chad Thomas, Brittany Ball, Chance Ball, Aaron Corbin, Trey Cox, Rosa Ball and Danielle Ball; and great grandchildren, Brayden Ball, Jacey Brake, Kaleb Emola, Kara Corbin, McKenna Corbin, Emma Corbin, Chevy Cox and Nova Cox.
The family will receive friends at a Visitation from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas.
Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Restland's Memorial Chapel with burial that afternoon at 1:30pm at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
