Dallas, Texas – Joyce Rebecca Becker, 75, went home to be with the Lord after an eight year battle with Alzheimer’s disease on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.Funeral: Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11:00am at Grace Bible Church, 11306 Inwood Drive, Dallas, Texas 75229.Viewing: Friday, March 1, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.Joyce was born in Houston, Texas on July 4, 1943, where she spent her childhood. She married her beloved husband, Joe, and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary shortly before he passed in 2016. She was a faithful and humble servant of the Lord and beautifully loved her family and anyone who came in contact with her. She was an artist, a Sunday School teacher, and an Aggie Mom. She most loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Joyce loved studying God’s Word, and she had a joy that was contagious to everyone that she met.Joyce is survived by her sister and three brothers, her son and two daughters and their spouses- Mark and Marlyn Becker, Kristi and John Shanks and Alison and Chris Thomas, and her grandchildren- Abigail and Rachel Becker, Isabel, Preston and Samuel Shanks and Abby, Sophie Jane and Chloe Thomas.Funeral arrangements for Mrs.Joyce Rebecca Becker have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
